10 Ways to Avoid Hipster Baby Names - The Daily Beast
(via apsies)
well I for one love the names Seraphina, Elizabeth, and Rose…though not necessarily all together. However, these guidelines are pretty good since a lot of those name categories can lead to a child being teased or are ugly.
But take caution. In my opinion, not doing something just because hipsters do it is still pretentious.
I could definitely see myself naming a child after a writer or a literary character. It would be because that character or writer really meant something to me, and there’s nothing wrong with that.
If people want to call me pretentious, I really couldn’t care less. They can go fuck themselves.
